Selected Curatorial Projects
Catherine Maudsley’s early introduction to the purposes, principles and practices of curation was at Toronto’s Royal Ontario Museum in the 1970s with Professor Shih Hsio-yen (1933-2001), Curator of the Far Eastern Department.
Attracted to the concept of the meaningful selection of objects to communicate a strong narrative, Catherine has curated, co-curated and guest curated exhibitions for artists, art collections and institutions.
In a sublime and deep way my understanding of China’s art has been greatly enriched in those moments spent with you.
